Our doctors
Board Certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Osborn specializes in managing and coordinating health care and wellness issues for all ages. A graduate of Brown University, she received her MD from the University of Cincinnati Medical School and was an associate professor of clinical medicine at the University of Utah Medical School. She had an active practice in both pediatric and adult medicine as well as teaching residents and conducting clinical research.
In 2005, Dr. Osborn left the University to focus on developing an ideal primary care practice for patients interested in comprehensive, preventative care and Evolutionary Healthcare was born. In September 2007, Utah Business Magazine recognized her efforts for developing an innovative primary care practice.
With 30 years of clinical experience and 15 years practicing at the University of Utah Medical Center, Dr. Chris Gay has found his ideal job at Evolutionary Healthcare. He thrives on being able to provide efficient, top-quality health care by collaborating with his patients and helping them navigate the complex medical system. Dr. Gay’s roots are in a small town in Oregon. He received his BS in Biology at the University of Oregon and graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Completing his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Utah, he has been an active faculty member in the Department of Family and Preventative Medicine.
Dr. Gay started at Evolutionary Healthcare in April of 2008. He has a special interest in comprehensive and preventative care with particular expertise in managing sports injuries, aging issues, and a focus on men’s health care.

Mayra Estrada
Efficient, fast-paced, and ready with a smile, Mayra manages to juggle billing for the office, our IT challenges, and improve human resource issues. Raising a lovely set of boys, she is somehow always available, and has become invaluable since being hired at EHC in 2007.
Amber West
The pro of medical assistants, Amber has enough youthful energy, balanced with experience and sensitivity, to become a star MA over the ten years she has serviced patients and doctors at EHC. Wickedly fast and efficient, she can find a lab result or hold a hand or even shovel our snow at a moment’s notice.
Nadine Umulisa
Quietly efficient, calmly sensible and technically skilled as a medical assistant, Nadine has a deep thoughtful spirit that lights up daily. She has worked with Dr. Gay since early 2018 and has a bright future in medicine.
Dulce Sanchez
As the newest member of the medical assistant and front desk team, Dulce offers efficiency and humor to our staff and patients. She has good technical skills, is very committed to EHC, and offers good insight and experience to help us function smoothly.
Will Weeks
Will joined the EHC team in 2022. With lots of experience at U of U Healthcare, he is a fast learner of navigating computer systems and can retrieve anything we ask for. His youthful enthusiasm helps keep the rest of us up to speed, and his gentle caring touch is appreciated by all our patients.
Shelby Strain
Shelby is our new star at the front desk, ready and willing to help. From the Salt Lake area, she is well-versed in setting up appointments, refills, and answering questions. With a positive attitude and easy smile, she’s a bright addition to the EHC team.
